Appointing Ofori-Atta As Caretaker Minister For Trade Was Politically Wrong – Nana Obiri Boahen | Politics

Talking in an interview on Wontumi TV, he added that it confuses him that the president’s advisors sat unconcerned for such a call to be taken provided that the Finance Minister was already experiencing backlash from a piece of the general public.

“With all due respect and with all humility to the president, that call for the president to permit Ken Ofori-Atta to take cost was incorrect. Constitutionally the president was proper, legally the president was proper, however politically it was incorrect and morally it was incorrect.
