A 71-year-old blind man has allegedly killed his spouse at Nkawkaw Abepotia within the Kwahu West Municipality of the Jap Area.
In response to Angel FM’s Jap Regional correspondent, Oheneba Siaw, the deceased, 65, threatened to divorce his blind husband after 28 years of marriage.
The suspect, George Mudor is alleged to have dedicated the crime whereas the spouse was asleep on March 14, 2023.
The suspect is quoted to have mentioned that, his late spouse is unappreciative as a result of that they had happier instances collectively when he wasn’t blind, however due to his present state, she determined to depart him.
He added that his late spouse had been threatening to divorce him which didn’t sit properly with him.
George Mudor has been arrested and is helping the Nkawkaw divisional police with investigations, whereas Grace’s physique has since been taken to the Holy Household Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
