The US ambassador to Nigeria has mentioned the 25 February elections “failed to fulfill Nigerians’ expectations”.

In an announcement, Mary Leonard urged the electoral fee to deal with the hitches it skilled earlier than the governorship polls on 11 March.

“It’s clear that the electoral course of as a complete on 25 February failed to fulfill Nigerians’ expectations,” the US ambassador mentioned.
