Managing Editor of the Perception newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has condemned the general public declaration of help for a Presidential aspirant by leaders of the political social gathering he belongs to.
Because the governing New Patriotic Get together gears up for its Presidential primaries, some Regional executives and main members of the social gathering have publicly chosen their favorites to win the elections.
With some rooting for the Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, others are campaigning for the previous Commerce Minister, Alan Kyerematen, who’re among the many candidates vying for the flagbearer place of the NPP.
Mr. Pratt, talking on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’, argued that it isn’t good for the leaders to declare their help for a candidate.

He questioned why this tradition of executives, Ministers and others vouching for a specific candidate hasn’t been addressed by the social gathering to cease them from persevering with this behavior.
He requested the leaders who’re into such behavior to maintain their mouths shut on the subject of their alternative of a Presidential candidate.
